Whitechapel Mission

Central Finance Board of the Methodist Church supports the Whitechpel Mission

The Central Finance Board of the Methodist Church (CFB) has supported the Whitechapel Mission since March 2017.

Whitechapel Mission started off as the Whitechapel Methodist Mission which arose from house mission activities of the Revd. Thomas Jackson who worked in the East end of London for 56 years.

They have been serving the homeless and marginalised for 140 years. They aim to serve the men and women caught in the cycles of poverty, hopelessness and dependencies of many kinds, and to see their lives transformed to hope, joy and lasting productivity.

Part of supporting the Mission involves CFB staff helping to prepare and serve breakfast to their homeless guests - and we do this quarterly (see pictures).
