CFB Council Member
Are you a Methodist looking to make a meaningful impact? The Central Finance Board (CFB) of the Methodist Church invites you to apply to join its Council, the governing body responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations. As an important part of the team, you'll participate in six meetings per year to shape the strategic plan and annual budget, ensuring that the organisation continues to thrive.
The CFB is a statutory body managing investments and cash on behalf of Methodist Church members while also overseeing the work of Epworth Investment Management Ltd. This subsidiary serves faith groups, charities, and individuals in the UK, providing ethical investment management solutions.
Successful candidates for Council membership should be Methodists with experience or interest in financial matters and investment ethics.
The role is voluntary, but it offers a unique platform to contribute to a faith-based institution. Meetings are held both in person in London and online for your convenience.
